Tech News World : Microsoft Wants to Cordon Off Botnet-Infected Computers

"Microsoft is calling for "collective action" to combat cyberthreats -- particularly botnets. "Governments, industry and consumers should support cybersecurity efforts modeled on efforts to address human illnesses," says VP of Trustworthy Computing Scott Charney in a new position paper. This seems like a good idea, however I fear will be implemented badly.
